Victoria Weinner, Girls’ Physical Education and Health Teacher, grew up in a Christian school and was greatly impacted by the teachers she had. She remembers, “It was my desire to be able to impact others the way my teachers had influenced me.”

As a seventh grader she felt God calling her to be a teacher. Coupling that calling with her love of sports led her into physical education.

“Watching my students grow and improve throughout the year and seeing them accomplish something they have worked hard to achieve” are the most rewarding aspects of teaching for her. The importance of being proper stewards of the bodies God has entrusted to His children is an important academic and life lesson she stresses to all of her students. When asked about the curriculum she teaches, Ms. Weinner shared, “We cover a wide variety of sports and activities that benefit my students, a popular one is badminton!”

Outside of the classroom, this native Michigander enjoys traveling back to the north, spending time with family, outdoor activities such as camping, and cheering on the Michigan State University Spartans and Detroit Tigers.

Ms. Weinner holds a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Piedmont International University.
