The friendly voice you hear on the phone and sweet smile you encounter when you first enter the Wake Christian Academy high school building is that of Christal Knott, the school’s receptionist.

For the past  ten years, Mrs. Knott has held this position, and for four years prior to that, she served as Administrative Assistant. Before coming to Wake Christian, Mrs. Knott was employed by Wake County Public Schools.

Mrs. Knott and her husband of twenty-three years, Richie, have two children: Catrina, 22, and Cody, 14. Catrina is a 2010 graduate of Wake Christian and attended Campbell University. Cody is currently a freshman here at Wake Christian. The Knott family attends C3 Church, where Mrs. Knott serves on the First Touch and Office Support teams.

Mrs. Knott enjoys spending her free time with family and friends as well as reading and cooking. During the summer, Mrs. Knott can be found leading a few cooking camp sessions here at Wake Christian!

“I love being part of the Wake Christian family,” said Mrs. Knott, who was initially drawn to the school because of its Christ-centered education.

“I tell parents this school is well worth any sacrifice you have to make,” she continued, “Students leave Wake Christian with a firm foundation built on Jesus Christ. The relationships they form and the influence of teachers are priceless!”
