STEM Week: First Grade’s Wild Ride

It was no easy task for our groups of first-grade students to design a marble run that would last at least 20 seconds. For three days our first-grade student teams had the opportunity to discuss, design, construct and modify theirĀ apparatus. Results were altogether impressive but most importantly, our students showed leadership, cooperation, determination, problem-solving, budding design and engineering skills, built on their math and science knowledge and had FUN!
