Our International Student Program is Growing!
Our school has maintained I-20 status for four years, which allows us to assist students with F-1 visa status, seeking to study in the US on a more long-term basis. We currently have ten international students on campus, with three graduating this year!
Every student’s experience at WCA is enriched by the presence of our international students, as we have opportunity to learn alongside teens who have spent most of their childhood in other countries. Over the past six years, we’ve hosted students from China, Korea, France, Germany, Austria, Ethiopia, Ghana, Vietnam, and Brazil. We hope to diversify our student body with international students from even more countries in the future.
Full immersion into our advanced curriculum is a key goal of the ISP at Wake Christian. Our international students participate in the same classes as our domestic students, with access to tutoring, mentoring and ESL assistance.
Upon graduating from WCA, international students may travel back to their home country or continue to study in the US or abroad, according to their visa duration. Our students leave WCA prepared to study at public and private universities, both in and out-of-state, as well as at international colleges and universities.
We’re blessed to be part of their lives for this season, as they prepare for the next important steps in their education journey.
