Congratulations to our Surles and Blackman Achievement Award Winners!

This fall, High School Principal Wayne Helder presented two deserving seniors with the Morgan Faith Surles and Sara Brooke Blackman Achievement awards.

The Morgan Faith Surles Achievement Award is named in honor of Dr. Morgan Faith Surles, a graduate of the WCA Class of 2005 and the Campbell University School of Pharmacy. The winner of this award for 2019 is Mr. Nicholas Bright.

The Sara Brooke Blackman Achievement Award is named in honor of Sara Brooke Blackman, WCA Class of 2007. She is a graduate of North Carolina State University and the Drexel University School of Law. This award was presented to Miss Macey Johnson.

Both awards recognize exceptional achievement in the following areas: academics, student leadership, Christian character, and civic involvement. Award recipients are selected each year by the award donors.
