Fitness and Nutrition

Welcome to the Fitness and Nutrition page. At Wake Christian Academy we strive to help our young people stay strong and healthy.

Fitness Days are observed in the elementary with special games and  fitness activities for each class.  Dress on fitness days for  students may be loose fitting athletic wear (warm-up suits, sweats, knee length shorts / PE shorts), or loose fitting jeans. T-shirts that fit the WCA dress standard may be worn un-tucked for Fitness Days (3rd, 4th and 5th-grade students are to wear a WCA T-shirt).

Parents are not asked to keep a record of “fitness units” this year, but we are encouraging everyone with a Fitness and Faith word from Mrs. Fowler our Fitness Coordinator for 2016-2017.


Eat breakfast every day. It gets your metabolism up and running. Joel 2:26a ~ You will have plenty to eat and be satisfied and praise the name of the Lord your God.
