Athletic Philosophy

Conference Affiliation

High School Athletics

On the state level, all of our high school sports teams participate in athletics under the governance of the North Carolina Independent School Athletic Association (NCISAA).  The NCISAA is comprised of 90-plus schools from all over the state of North Carolina. On the local level, all of our high school sports teams except varsity and JV football participate in the Capital City Conference (CCC).  The CCC is comprised of the following schools:  Grace Christian School, Cary Christian Academy, St. David’s School, Trinity Academy of Raleigh, and Wake Christian Academy.   For football, WCA is a member of the Big East Independent Football Conference (BEIFC).  The BEIFC is comprised of the following schools:  Harrells Christian Academy, North Raleigh Christian Academy, Ravenscroft School, Trinity Christian School, and Wake Christian Academy.

Middle School Athletics

For all of our middle school sports teams, WCA is a member of the Capital Area Middle School Conference (CAMSC).  The CAMSC is comprised of the following schools: Cary Academy, Cary Christian School, Franklin Academy, Grace Christian School, Magellan Charter School, North Raleigh Christian Academy, St. David’s School, St. Timothy’s School, Trinity Academy of Raleigh, and Wake Christian Academy.  For more information about the CAMSC, please visit http://www.capitalareamsc.com/.
