Grades K-5 at Wake Christian Academy
So much growth occurs during the formative years of elementary school. During this time, your child will build a strong academic foundation, form meaningful friendships, grow increasingly independent, and discover their place in God’s world.
As a parent, you understand that all the hours your child will spend at school between kindergarten and fifth grade will have a significant impact on who they become. That’s why choosing the right elementary school means so much to you. At Wake Christian Academy, we partner with parents throughout these important years — not only to ensure your child thrives in the classroom, but also to strengthen the Christian values you’ve been diligently teaching at home.
A Strong Foundation for a Lifetime of Learning
You want your child to become a confident learner, all while discovering their God-given gifts and talents. In elementary school, we focus on developing strong foundations in the core subjects of Bible, math, reading, spelling, language (writing), history, handwriting, and science. Our curriculum is also enriched with numerous specials — Spanish, music, art, library, P.E., and technology to name a few. Field trips, academic competitions, and experiential learning projects bring learning to life.
Because we keep class sizes small, students benefit from personal attention and assistance when needed.

A Biblical Worldview to Face an Ever-Changing Culture
Because we integrate Biblical truth into every subject area, students discover how God’s Word is living and relevant. They also develop a moral foundation, strong values, and Christlike character. We are not only equipping young learners to thrive in grade school through college, we’re preparing them to make a difference in the world. As challenges come up, they’ll be equipped to problem solve with a Biblical perspective.
Students grow spiritually through mentorship from their teachers, regular Bible lessons, weekly chapel time, and several outreach projects throughout the year.
A Strong Community to Call Home
At WCA, your elementary school student will be surrounded by positive role models, mentored by Christian teachers, and immersed in a close-knit community. This provides a great sense of security during the early years when children thrive on alignment between home and school.
Busy parents love our After School Program, and older elementary students can participate in interest-based clubs such as STEM & Engineering, Lego Robotics, Cooking, Photography, Volleyball, Golf, and Tennis
