Kindergarten Students Learn the Mexican Hat Dance

Students in Senora Jones’ kindergarten classes always have fun learning while singing songs in Spanish. By midway through the year, the young students have learned many songs, rhymes and movements. They stay engaged while delighting in singing with their “profesora” and responding to her directions given “en espanol.”

During this particular lesson, Mrs. Scott’s kindergarten class had an opportunity to learn the Mexican Hat Dance. Senora Jones and the students danced, clapped and skipped together. The children could hardly stop smiling.

We’ve added a few pictures from Mrs. Bower’s and Mrs. Flynn’s classes doing the Mexican Hat Dance too!
