Alumni Spotlight: Patrick Lee, ’08

Officer Patrick Lee Voted Garner Police Department Officer of the Year

Officer Patrick Lee (WCA ’08) has been named the Garner Police Department’s Officer of the Year by a vote of his peers based on his sustained outstanding performance.

“Officer Lee is always professional and courteous in his contacts, proactive in his enforcement methods and helpful and cooperative to his fellow officers,” a written nomination of Lee said. “Despite being a relatively new officer, his commitment and dedication to this community and the agency he serves is apparent.”

Lee is a Raleigh native. He graduated from Wake Christian Academy in 2008 then earned a degree in civil engineering from N.C. State University. Prior to joining Garner PD, Lee was a project engineer. He began his career with Garner Police as a services officer but was sworn in as a police officer in June 2016 after successfully completing the BLET program at Johnston Community College. WCA is very proud of our hometown hero for shining the light of Christ!
