WCA Earns NCCSA Accreditation with Distinction
Wake Christian Academy is pleased to announce that the North Carolina Christian School Association (NCCSA) has officially reaffirmed and elevated our school to the level of Accredited with Distinction. The accreditation process was completed this spring, and the NCCSA team visited our campus in March.
The press release reaffirming our accreditation states that, “NCCSA accreditation protocol has been recognized by the NC Division of Non-Public Education and is approved by the National Council for Private School Accreditation (NCPSA) through a co-accreditation agreement with the North American Christian School Accrediting Agency (NACSAA). As part of the onsite team visit, a representative of NACSAA participated in the peer review and report writing process. As a member of the NCPSA, NACSAA partners with AdvancED/SACS and the Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), to provide co-accreditation to NCCSA member schools desiring to pursue regional accreditation.”
WCA is the first school to receive this designation from the NCCSA, and each teacher, student, family member and staff member played a significant part in this achievement. We are excited to share this honor and official announcement with our WCA family!
