Register for 2019 Mission 5K and Fun Run
This year during spring break, March 23-29, the Guatemala Mission Team from Wake Christian Academy is partnering again with Kids Alive International, to minister to the girls at the Oasis in San Lucas, Guatemala.
Our team is raising funds to sponsor two girls who live at the Oasis for an entire year and to support the ministry at the Oasis Children’s Home. Mission Outreach race participation and donations help provide a safe and loving home, Christian caregivers, meals, clothes, medical care, a quality education, and an introduction to the love of Jesus.
Team Guatemala members spoke at our chapel services recently, to give our students a glimpse of the people they will meet and the things they will experience on this mission trip. One of our seniors, Reese Buffaloe, shared about her personal connection to Guatemala and how much the girls at the Oasis have impacted her life.
