Alumni Update: Rory and Collin O’Kane

Rory O’Kane is a 2007 graduate of Wake Christian Academy. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 2011 with a BS in Chemistry and then completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from UNC’s Dental School in 2014.  Rory is currently applying for one year internships and plans to join a practice in North Carolina.  In the future, Rory wants to open his own practice.

Collin O’Kane, Rory’s younger brother, is a 2009 graduate of WCA. After graduation from NC State, Collin was offered a job at SpaceX in the Quality Assurance Department. SpaceX was founded by Elon Musk, the co-founder of Paypal and founder of Tesla. Among other tasks, Collin is working on include preventing Foreign Object Debris (FOD) in the capsule that docks at the International Space Station.
