New Junior Varsity Football Coach

Wake Christian Academy is pleased to announce David Williams as JV Football Coach. Coach Williams graduated from Wake Christian Academy in 1987 and continued his football playing career at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, NC and later at Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC. He graduated from Methodist College in 1992 with a BS degree in History Education. He accepted a coaching position on the Methodist Football Staff upon completion of his playing eligibility.  After 3 seasons on the Methodist staff, Coach Williams joined the varsity football coaching staff at Wake Christian in 1994 and accepted a teaching position in 1995. He has taught computer, history and PE while coaching football and baseball over the 19 years of service to WCA.   He will be moving to the Alumni Coordinator position for next year.

Coach Williams replaces Dennis Hensley, who is stepping out of the head coach role and will remain as an assistant coach. The remaining members of the JV coaching staff include Schuyler Epps, Brent Gore, and Bryan Hughes.
