Student Spotlight: Austin Taylor, Class of 2024
Austin Taylor is a “day-oner” at WCA, having been a student with us since his Kindergarten year. He is a member of the graduating class of 2024. Austin says, “I’m blessed to have attended WCA since Kindergarten. I’ve been surrounded by wonderful faculty and classmates. I’m thankful for the Christ-centered education I have received.”
The sport of tennis has been Austin’s passion, and he plays with excellence. He plays competitively in state and out-of-state competitions. He has also been ranked nationally! Off the tennis courts, Austin volunteers with the National League of Junior Cotillions, serves in the Beta Club, is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the Chick-Fil-A Leadership Academy. One of his proudest accomplishments was when he served as a junior marshall for the Class of 2023 graduation. He is definitely setting a great example of service and leadership to his three younger siblings, also students at WCA.
Upon graduation, Austin plans to attend a four-year university to study computer science or biomedical engineering, and hopefully play college or club tennis. Austin and his family attend Wake Chapel Christian Church where he serves in the youth group. We are so proud of you, Austin, and pray that God continues to bless you as you leave WCA this spring. Once a Bulldog, always a Bulldog!
